Family Focus Christian Counseling uses the following criteria for selecting their counseling staff:

• Approved by the Board of Behavioral Sciences to practice counseling in the State of California.
  
• Born again believers who have been saved by God's amazing grace.
  
• Spiritually mature and biblically adept at helping the client see that for every problem they face in life, there is a corresponding principle in God's word to help them through it.
  
• Committed to their local church.
  
• Trained in area of people skills, relational skills, and educational skills to meet the needs of hurting people.
